HKZ is the largest subsidy-free wind farm in the world today. Located about 18-35 kilometres off the Dutch coast, spanning 225 km2, HKZ received first power in Summer 2022 and is scheduled to be fully operational in 2024.
Seagreen Offshore Wind Farm, is located around 27km from the coast of Angus in the North Sea. The 1,075MW wind farm features 114 Vestas turbines and an offshore substation.
In 2018 Seaway 7 was awarded the contract for the turnkey engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning (EPIC) works related to the inner array grid and export cable system of the Yunlin Offshore Wind Farm project.
Moray East is being developed in the Outer Moray Firth and is located 22km off the coast of Scotland. Seaway 7 were responsible for the transport of all jacket foundations fabricated at Lamprell’s Hamriyah fabrication yard.
Seaway 7 successfully completed the Beatrice Project (EPCI) in 2019. Beatrice, once fully operational, will be one of Scotland’s largest offshore wind farms, located approximately 13km from the Caithness coast. All Seaway 7 vessels contributed to deliver the design, fabrication and installation of 84 jacket foundations, weighing over 120,000Te, along with 165km of Inter-Array Cables.
