Seaway7 has been awarded a substantial1 contract by Inch Cape Offshore Limited, a joint venture between ESB and Red Rock Renewables, for the transport and installation of pin-pile jacket foundations and transition pieces for the Inch Cape Offshore Wind Farm. The 1.1GW Inch Cape project offshore site is located in the Scottish North Sea, 15 kilometres off the Angus coast, and will comprise 72 wind turbine generators. Seaway7 has today signed a vessel reservation agreement with Dogger Bank Offshore Wind Farm1 for the transportation and installation of turbines for the Dogger Bank project, offshore the UK. Seaway7 has today announced the award of a substantial contract by Ørsted for the transport and installation of the inter-array cables of the Hornsea 3 offshore wind project located in the UK sector of the North Sea.   Last week marked a significant milestone for Seaway7 as the new build installation vessel Seaway Ventus successfully installed its first Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs). The first turbine was completed on Tuesday afternoon on Ørsted’s Gode Wind 3 project, in cooperation with the WTG manufacturer Siemens Gamesa who provides installation crew and equipment onboard.  Situated 32 kilometres from the coast in the German North Sea, the turbine stands tall in 30 meters water depth, with the hub height measuring 126 meters and the rotor blades spanning 97 meters each.  Camilla V.P. 14 May 2024 The team working on what will be the world’s largest offshore wind farm, Dogger Bank, have started work on the foundation installation campaign for the second phase of the development. Seaway7’s vessels Seaway Strashnov and Seaway Alfa Lift have commenced installation of monopile foundations and transition pieces for the Dogger Bank B phase of the offshore wind farm project. Seaway7 has today announced the award of a  sizable contract by PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna and Ørsted for the transport and installation of the substations for the Baltica 2 wind farm, offshore Poland.
