In March 2024, Seaway Osprey was mobilised in Vung Tau, Vietnam where the grillages and seafastenings of the jackets were installed on the main deck at the Ba Son Shipyard.
In November 2024, Seaway Osprey arrived at the Anping Port, completing her 14th cycle transporting jacket foundations from South Korea, for the Hai Long 2 & 3 Offshore Wind Farms Offshore Windfarm. This concluded a successful seven-month transportation campaign with Seaway Osprey at her best.
Seaway7 transported a total of 40 three-legged jackets from Samkang S&C Co. fabrication yard in South Korea to the marshalling port in Anping, Taiwan. The foundations averaged more than 2,500 tonnes in weight and 93m in height. The jackets were loaded onboard by the sheerleg crane “Hyundai-10000”, amongst the largest available in the world, and rolled off by Self Propelled Modular Trailers (SPMTs). Vessel strength and stability, transportation motion response analysis, ballast plans and mooring arrangements were carried out to ensure safe and efficient execution.
